Doctors at The Foot Institute – Red Deer provide services for the surgical and medical therapy of the ankle and foot. They put in approximately 10 years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to usual medical school and as a matter of fact a number of podiatry training programs are located within these schools. Upon achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.
