Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and in fact many podiatry programs are contained inside these institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have received comprehensive medical education with a stress on problems involving the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are taught to deal with problems ranging from common ailments such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more intricate such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
