Our doctors invest around ten years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

Knowing biomechanics and gait problems enables a Podiatric doctor to create shoes and orthotics which can offer pain relief and prevent a large number of complications which the feet usually experience.
