After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained considerable medical instruction with an emphasis on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are educated to handle problems extending from conventional afflictions such as fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more challenging for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
