Foot Institute Podiatrists invest an average of ten years in learning, the first four years in undergrad studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and actually several podiatry training programs are contained inside these institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.
