At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Doctors have received comprehensive medical education with an attention to on problems regarding the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to treat complications extending from typical conditions for instance, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more puzzling for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have significant surgical training which provide them the experience required to perform surgical treatment on those conditions that are best remedied through surgical intervention.
Doctors at the Foot Institute also have an extensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs experience as we walk, run or perform other activities. Having knowledge of biomechanics and gait irregularities enables a Foot doctor to develop shoes and orthotics which can offer pain relief and protect against numerous troubles which the feet typically encounter.
