Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received wide-ranging healthcare training with a stress on problems involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are skilled to deal with problems varying from usual ailments such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are a lot more complex such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have considerable surgical instruction which give them the experience necessary to execute surgery on those issues that are ideally remedied through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors furthermore have a comprehensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs submit to as we walk, run or carry out other tasks. Knowing biomechanics and gait deviations permits a Foot doctor to design footwear and orthotics that can provide pain relief and protect against a large number of troubles which the feet typically experience.
