They devote about 10 years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in point of fact quite a number podiatry programs lie inside these schools. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.
