Our podiatrists devote about 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in point of fact several podiatry programs are located inside these institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.
