They invest about 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and various podiatry programs are contained within these schools. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained extensive medical instruction with an emphasis on issues involving the ankles and feet.
