They devote about 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have acquired wide-ranging healthcare instruction with a stress on complications concerning the feet and ankles.
