They invest about 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact various podiatry training programs are contained inside these institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have gained encompassing medical education with a focus on concerns concerning the feet and ankles.
