Foot Institute Doctors spend approximately 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and in reality many podiatry programmes are contained inside these academic institutions. Upon acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive healthcare training with an attention to on issues concerning the ankles and feet. They are trained to deal with problems ranging from general afflictions such as fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more obscure like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
