They devote around a decade in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes lie within these academic institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received encompassing medical training with a stress on issues involving the ankles and feet.
