Foot Institute Podiatrists invest approximately 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to regular medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry training programs lie inside these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have gained significant health care training with a stress on concerns regarding the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are skilled to deal with conditions varying from regular conditions like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more challenging like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
