They devote an average of 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. At the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained wide-ranging health care training with a stress on concerns pertaining to the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are studied to handle problems stretching from conventional problems for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are more puzzling such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have considerable surgical instruction which provide them the practical experience necessary to perform surgery on those concerns that are best remedied through surgical intervention.

Foot Institute Doctors additionally have a thorough knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs receive as we walk, run or carry out other activities. Realizing biomechanics and gait irregularities permits a Podiatrist to create shoes and orthotics which can provide pain relief and prevent many troubles which the feet usually experience.
