Our doctors devote an average of a decade in learning, the first four years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and several podiatry training programs are located inside these institutions. Upon procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have gained wide-ranging medical training with an importance on issues involving the feet and ankles. They are taught to handle conditions ranging from usual ailments like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more intricate like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
