Our doctors put in approximately ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and in point of fact many podiatry programs are located within these academic institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received considerable health care training with an importance on concerns concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are instructed to treat problems extending from basic disorders for instance fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more challenging including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
