Our doctors devote about ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to usual medical school and as a matter of fact a number of podiatry training programs are located within these academic institutions. Upon acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received significant health care education with a stress on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet.
