They devote an average of a decade in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and actually several podiatry programmes are located within these institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received significant medical training with an importance on issues pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are skilled to handle complications stretching from familiar problems like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more intricate like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
