They invest about a decade in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and a number of podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received comprehensive health care training with a stress on difficulties involving the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are taught to deal with difficulties varying from common ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more intricate for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
