At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have gained wide-ranging health care training with an attention to on difficulties concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to manage conditions stretching from usual ailments for example, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are more intricate for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have thorough surgical training which furnish them the skill required to perform surgery on those problems that are best treated through surgical intervention.
Our Doctors also have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or carry out other activities. Recognizing biomechanics and gait abnormalities allows a Podiatrist to develop footwear and orthotics which can offer pain relief and protect against many troubles which the feet frequently encounter.
