Dr.’s here at The Foot Institute – Calgary provide services for the surgical and medical therapy of the foot and ankle. They devote an average of ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and in reality many podiatry training programs are located within these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have acquired comprehensive healthcare training with a stress on difficulties concerning the feet and ankles.
