Foot Institute Doctors invest an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes are located within these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have gained extensive medical education with an importance on concerns pertaining to the feet and ankles. They are educated to treat complications ranging from conventional conditions for instance ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more complicated for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
