Our podiatrists devote approximately 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in point of fact numerous podiatry training programs are located within these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have received substantial healthcare instruction with a focus on issues regarding the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are trained to address difficulties ranging from typical ailments such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
