Our podiatrists spend about a decade in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and several podiatry programs are located within these schools. Upon procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received thorough medical training with an importance on concerns regarding the feet and ankles. They are studied to address problems stretching from simple problems for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are a lot more complex for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have substantial surgical training which give them the expertise necessary to perform surgical treatment on those concerns that are ideally handled through surgical intervention.

Our Doctors likewise have a comprehensive practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs undergo as we walk, run or perform other tasks.
