Our podiatrists put in an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes lie inside these academic institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained comprehensive medical training with a focus on difficulties pertaining to the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are educated to treat issues varying from regular problems for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more challenging for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
