Foot Institute Doctors invest approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in reality several podiatry training programs are located within these academic institutions. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.
