Foot Institute Doctors spend about a decade in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Upon getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Realizing biomechanics and gait problems makes it easy for a Podiatrist to design footwear and orthotics that can offer pain relief and minimize the risk of many troubles which the feet frequently encounter.
