Our podiatrists devote an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and in fact several podiatry training programs lie within these schools. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing medical training with a focus on difficulties regarding the ankles and feet.
