They spend an average of a decade in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received thorough medical training with an emphasis on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are instructed to manage difficulties ranging from commonplace disorders such as ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are even more complicated for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
