Our doctors invest approximately 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and in point of fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.
