Our podiatrists spend about 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact many podiatry programs lie within these academic institutions. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have obtained comprehensive healthcare education with an emphasis on complications involving the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to care for conditions ranging from regular disorders like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more complicated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
