Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in fact numerous podiatry training programs are located within these academic institutions. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have acquired substantial healthcare training with a stress on problems regarding the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to manage conditions varying from common problems such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more complex like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
