Our podiatrists devote about 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles usual medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes are located inside these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have gained extensive medical education with a main focus on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are skilled to deal with problems extending from basic afflictions like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are a lot more sophisticated for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
