Our doctors spend approximately a decade in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and in fact various podiatry programs are located inside these schools. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have acquired considerable health care education with a stress on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. They are taught to manage difficulties varying from normal ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more complicated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
