Foot Institute Doctors invest approximately 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to regular medical school and as a matter of fact many podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing medical instruction with a concentration on issues concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are taught to treat problems stretching from standard problems for example, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more perplexing for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have thorough surgical training which give them the experience vital to carry out surgery on those problems that are ideally treated through surgical intervention.
