Foot Institute Podiatrists spend approximately 10 years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in reality various podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Doctors have gained encompassing medical education with an emphasis on complications involving the feet and ankles.
