Foot Institute Podiatrists devote an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in point of fact several podiatry training programs lie inside these schools. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have acquired extensive medical training with an importance on issues regarding the feet and ankles. They are instructed to handle difficulties varying from simple problems like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more puzzling such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
