They spend around a decade in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles usual medical school and as a matter of fact many podiatry programmes lie inside these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received encompassing medical training with a stress on difficulties pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are trained to treat problems ranging from common afflictions like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
