They invest about a decade in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and several podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received significant healthcare training with an attention to on complications involving the feet and ankles.
