Foot Institute Podiatrists invest approximately 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and actually several podiatry training programs are located within these institutions. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.
