Our podiatrists invest an average of 10 years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles typical medical school and several podiatry training programs are contained inside these institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have acquired extensive medical education with a concentration on issues pertaining to the feet and ankles. They are skilled to handle problems ranging from commonplace ailments like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more challenging like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
