Foot Institute Doctors devote an average of ten years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and in point of fact many podiatry programmes are located inside these institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received substantial health care training with a stress on complications regarding the ankles and feet.
