They invest approximately ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and in fact several podiatry programs are located inside these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have acquired extensive medical instruction with an emphasis on problems involving the feet and ankles. They are instructed to manage concerns stretching from typical ailments for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more complex for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have significant surgical instruction which furnish them the skill needed to conduct surgical treatment on those conditions that are best remedied through surgical treatment.
