Our doctors invest about ten years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to general medical school and in point of fact numerous podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have obtained substantial medical training with a focus on conditions concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to handle conditions ranging from commonplace disorders such as fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more challenging for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
