They invest an average of ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry programmes are located inside these schools. Upon procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained considerable healthcare education with an importance on concerns involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are instructed to handle problems stretching from general problems for instance, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
