They spend around ten years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have received substantial healthcare education with a stress on issues regarding the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to treat difficulties extending from simple ailments for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more puzzling like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
