Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and in reality several podiatry programmes are contained within these institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have acquired considerable medical training with a focus on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to deal with complications varying from standard problems like ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are far more intricate such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
