Foot Institute Doctors put in approximately ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have received thorough medical education with a focus on issues concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to treat problems extending from normal afflictions for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are a lot more intricate such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have extensive surgical instruction which give them the practical experience needed to carry out surgical treatment on those concerns that are best treated through surgical intervention.
